Dear Friends, 

Welcome to the 22nd Annual Ireland Network Chicago Ball! As we gather this evening, I am reminded that community is at the heart of everything we do—this Ball, our events and programs, and the Ireland Network itself. In a world that can feel fast-paced and divided, tonight is a meaningful reminder of the beauty that happens when people come together with shared purpose, pride, and generosity.

This evening would not be possible without the extraordinary commitment of our Executive Committee. A group of passionate leaders who give their time, talent, and heart to strengthening the Irish-American community in Chicago. I am deeply grateful to work alongside such an inspiring group. I would also like to give a very heartfelt thanks to Jackie Theodore, our Ball Chair, for her tireless work, dedication, and genuine care in making tonight such a success.

Tonight, Ireland Network Chicago proudly congratulates Vaughan Hospitality Group as our 2026 IN Spirit Honoree. From its founding by Dan Joe and Bina to its continued leadership under Kevin and Kristan, the Vaughan Family's legacy reflects Ireland Network Chicago’s mission of bringing Chicago’s Irish community together.

I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to our INC Leadership Team — President Craig O’Halloran, Vice President Meghan Lee, Secretary Julianne Cox, and Treasurer Laura Clancy. Your leadership, friendship, and unwavering commitment to move the organization forward, and I am incredibly grateful to work alongside each of you. Thank you, as well, to our Advisory Board, whose insight and stewardship help ensure the continued growth and strength of our Network.

Your friendship and support mean so much to us, and your dedication continues to strengthen the ties between Ireland and the Midwest. Your partnership has helped make Ireland Network Chicago the true Crossroads of Irish America.

It is a great honor to carry forward the work of those who have come before me by welcoming, supporting, and connecting the Irish community here in Chicago. If you are new to the Network or joining us at the Ball for the first time, I warmly encourage you to become a member! The relationships formed through Ireland Network Chicago are lasting, meaningful, and continually giving. You are very welcome!

Whether you are a sponsor, supporter, member, or newcomer, thank you for being a part of tonight and for being part of something larger than any one of us. Let this evening be a celebration of connection, shared heritage, and the strength that comes from coming together as a community.
